Explaining the InspiringSTEM Network's member member benefits
The InspiringSTEM Network is primarily for professionals working in science, technology, engineering and mathematics - STEM, to better connect to their peers and share expertise. It is FREE TO REGISTER and as a member you can create their own blog posts against your profile.
With all content freely accessible, the InspiringSTEM Network will also serve the broader public's interest in supporting the advancement of STEM.
But, in our professional and personal lives we are overwhelmed with various connections and networks. So why establish yet another network?
STEM professionals, as for any other sector, expect high quality, relevant, well-presented expertise, on demand.
Whilst STEM-related organisations are efficient in promoting and driving STEM at a local and specialist level, they do not generally connect with multi-disciplinary experts at a global level.
This means that there are inefficiencies in advancing STEM best practices, standards and success measures as well as connecting with a broader range of experts.
We have also seen an exponential growth in content from unreliable sources that position anyone as a STEM expert.
Older Web technologies can’t compete for attention with the new platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Consequently, the 'noise' created by these platforms is drowning out trusted STEM brands and is leaving STEM professionals and their stakeholders overwhelmed.
The InspiringSTEM Network uses a new, innovative and award-winning ‘networking’ platform called Zapnito. It will better enable key opinion leaders within STEM to:
- showcase on a global level their biggest asset: their experts.
- give STEM professionals what they want: direct access to these experts, on demand
- differentiate from self-proclaimed experts, showcasing their proprietary expertise
- provide a modern, engaging user experience with fit-for-purpose tools for interaction
- rise above the noise of social media and provide focus for STEM professionals
